Dedicated to promoting quality in higher education worldwide, the International Quality Assurance Network (IQAN) is the global branch of the International Quality Assurance Alliance (IQAA). As a continuation of IQAA, IQAN brings together professionals from around the world in higher education who are all dedicated to advancing and maintaining global standards for quality assurance in higher education.
IQAN brings together a wide array of stakeholders, including government-recognized quality assurance agencies for post-secondary institutions, higher education associations, public sector bodies, academic consultants, and individuals committed to upholding excellence in higher education. These members work collectively to tackle global challenges in academic quality and to drive ongoing improvement and innovation within the sector.
Functioning autonomously under the umbrella of IQAA, IQAN establishes its own membership requirements as specified in its official documentation. These criteria are distinct from those used for accreditor recognition by IQAA, promoting a fair, transparent, and independent pathway for international membership in IQAN.
